Arturas Meskauskas, Ph.D.
Research Associate Professor
Dr.
Meskauskas received his Masters of Science in Biochemistry in 1977 from
the State University of Vilnius
in Lithuania. Afterwards, he worked at the Lithuanian
Academy of Sciences' Institute of
Botany as a staff scientist until 1999. In 1991, while working at
the Institute of Botany, he completed
his Ph.D. in Biochemistry.
Dr. Meskauskas came to The United States of America in 1999 as a Post-doctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Jonathan Dinman. Currently he holds an appointment as an Associate Research Professor at the University of Maryland
