Jonathan L. Jacobs

Graduate Research Assistant

Jonathan received a Bachelors of Science in Plant Biology in 1999 from The University of Arizona. While he worked towards completing his undergraduate degree, he worked as a network administrator and webmaster for the UofA's College of Agriculture. After finishing his degree, he immediately enrolled in graduate studies at Rutgers and The University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. He joined Dr. Dinman's lab in the spring of 2000. He later transferred to the University of Maryland in 2002 to continue his research in Dr. Dinman's laboratory. He is currently working on a bioinformatics approach for the identification of putative ribosomal frameshift signals in the yeast genome (see the Projects page). Apparently he recently spent too much time in the lab (See more pictures).
