Jason Harger
Graduate Research Assistant
Jason
Harger received his B.S. from the The
College of New Jersey in 1996. After graduation he worked for
one year at American Cyanamid Company in Princeton,
NJ, in the Plant Biotechnology Department and then spent another
year working in the Process Engineering Department at Ortho Clinical
Diagnostics in Raritan, NJ. Since 1998, he has been enrolled in
the Graduate School
of Biomedical Sciences at Rutgers
University and the University
of Medicine and Dentistry at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School,
Piscataway, NJ. He is a student in the Department
of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology chaired by Dr. Sidney
Pestka and is working under the advisement of Dr. Jonathan Dinman.
While Dr. Dinman has recently moved his laboratory to the University
of Maryland in College Park, MD, Jason remains enrolled as a
student in New Jersey while completing his research in Dr. Dinman's
new laboratory. He is expected to defend his doctoral dissertation
in the summer of 2003.
