ribosome structure/function relationships, and regulation of gene expression.

Postdoctoral Positions
NIH and NSF funded positions are available in the field of translational recoding. This highly interactive group employs genetic, molecular biological and biochemical approaches to examine ribosome structure/function, translational fidelity, control of gene expression, mRNA stability, and virus propagation. Successful candidate must be a highly motivated Ph.D. with good people skills and strong backgrounds in molecular biology, biochemistry, and/or genetics.
